Its called trading. Traders know that there is a lot of expectation around FAR and that people will start jumping on as soon as they see anunexplained price spike (buyers assuming someone is 'in the know'). Until an announcement, you'll see plenty of this gaming on FAR (and other expectation-laden stocks) will volumes are thin over the holidays.
