    The problem is, the trend is of increased mobile usage (funnily enough at lower speeds than what you can get via fixed line). This flies in the face of Labor's claim that 80% of households will take on NBN making it financially viable. 80% will NOT take on the NBN.

    The world is a dynamic place. Changing internet usage patterns will demand increases in speed & bandwidth & reliability & all that other good stuff.

    Sure takeup may be slow at first... but thats because some people arent natural early adopters. They will wait to see how it pans out and wait for prices to drop.
