I thought I'd have a look at the tenement health. While its granted and all looks good to go, there's an entry under "Dealings" that says inclusion of some private land is "pending". Its lodged the same day as the land access deal was announced (26/02/21), and I think the hold up might be on the government-side in including this excluded land into the exploration tenement. Perhaps one person will not approve drilling access until another's included it in the tenement. I can sort of see why Jimmy would be reluctant to say too much about it if this is the case, and it'd be hard to book a drill rig without knowing when approval would be granted.
Another possibility is there's some commercial deal going down - CHN wanting a 20% stake and a director on the board? CHN has some nice looking targets immediately north and west of the targets identified by MAN last month and it'd make sense to just get a couple of drill rigs for 3 months and drill it all out with 15 to 20,000 metres. MAN's definitely got the cash at $4.6m to do that. Just so long as its not the Chinese, if they come in nothing will happen except a lot of lunches & hookers at Crown Casino.
It wasn't enough to put me off topping up on the dip today, I liked the suggestion that yesterday's selling was profit-taking before pre-weekend buying, and we've seen it run up to 21 or 22 cents a month ago. Its frustrating but I don't think MAN's a lost cause, not yet anyway.
