Well, I didn't request an article on Universal Basic Income, but appreciate you posting the link. Thanks. There are many think-tanks and opportunists attempting to make their name for a viewpoint, prepared to pursue them. I am also well aware that there is economic research/thinking re these disappearing jobs which suggests that what is likely to emerge are many new, not-yet-anticipated, jobs which will emerge and that the gloom-and-doom thinking will not eventuate re the job market. Some jobs with morph into the new economy and others will be totally from demands of the new economy.....
A big unknown, hence the academics who attempt to ally themselves with a specific view in order to get some personal accolades for their idea... and it has always been thus in the field of Economics.
