Football players are paid that much, because they take the populations mind off the real game??
I absolutely think it is preposterous the amount they get paid, especially in countries that are finically falling apart. Eventually it will fall apart, fans won't be able to afford to go to games, TV stations won't be able to pay for the rights they have secured.
The real debt that the USA has on its books and off its books, will NEVER be repaid, certainly not in dollars of todays value and purchasing power!
The world economy is a Ponzi Scheme at its very essence.
All Ponzi Schemes eventually collapse, we are closer to the end than the beginning!
Everyone believes in Democracy, as long as they are running the show?
Truth is there is no perfect system of governance.
The obvious signs of Government's loosing control, are there for all to see, around the Globe.
When telling the Truth, becomes a crime, Civil war, is not far behind.
When Government Coups, become the norm, civil disruption, is not far behind.
When exporting Democracy, always means war, Maybe we should STOP.
