Your simple analogy that reward is directly proportional to risk is incorrect.
You can get from 0.1% - 3% at call from a bank with the same risk factor, it's your choice. You can get perhaps 8% or an 8% loss in the stock market with a much higher degree of risk than some other investments.

It's up to you to look for them with an open mind and make your own determination. It wont come looking for you because there are more than enough astute investors to supply the limited demand.
