the first thing people do when their bored is eat something, the second thing they do is buy something, boredom IMO is the leading cause of spending on none essential shit, I watch my mates do it and they don't even realise it. they've got everything two cars, 2 motorbikes, 3 different types of BBQs, electric baby cot rocker thingy, none of this shit is necessary no one needs two cars no one needs a f$&@ing electric baby rocker, but they justify buying it all for some reason, but at the end of the day getting a new present makes you excited for a few minutes. and lock downs will increase boredom and they will have to brighten up their boring day with online shopping cos they're not even allowed out of the house, so yes I also believe it's not that bad
