Crazy roller coaster... if I wasn't so skittish and have already had so many bad experiences with these Chinese stocks, I might have had the guts to double down at $.25. Now it's twice that. Oh well. Still doing well for in at $.40 before the dividend.
Am I right in thinking that $10 million impairment on the orchards acquired is a once off, and that actual earnings would otherwise have been $20 million.
I really, really like the idea of marketing premium Australian foods in China. After some digging, I realised that most of the food the presently still is grown in China. However, I would expect demand for safe, quality Australian food to continue growing strongly as the Chinese middle class continues to grow.
