Correction:
Spot and term contacts for coal of similar quality to what Exergen expects to be exporting were going for over $80/mt in August 2010 when at the same time the coal price you are referring to, $130/mt, were $96/mt. (I was looking at 2009)
So that means that there would be around a $10-15 off the price of the premium product for the slightly lower cal value.
So based on a price of $115/mt using the higher discount of $15/mt, then applying the figure based on a project at LV requiring a pipeline (quoted above) of $55/mt, gives $60/mt profit. So is that figure still ridiculous exberliner?
