It is also worth remembering that inside of that 22-month window there will also be a review of patient results to determine early indications of efficacy. It's not clear whether the company will share those results with us or not, but I'm sure it will be possible to guess. And as you say, they have put considerable effort into taking on board FDA advice and feedback in the design of the trial. Hence I believe there is a strong chance the trial will be successful.
There is every chance we will have a strong hint that IRX211 is working as intended well before the official end of the Phase 2 trial.
