    Chinese interest is 80% and no they do not have unlimited water rights. Again only someone with no idea would make such a stupid statement.
    They can only take water when there is a flow on and depending on the size of the flow, dictates how much water they are allowed to take according to their enforced quotas. Only in a massive flood are they allowed to fill their storage completely, helping to prevent further devastating floods down south of them.

    6 weeks ago there was a small flow in the Narren and they rightfully could have taken their share of water, but to their credit they elected not to take any and let if flow down south for other uses along the system.

    I`m sick of hearing people with no idea and facts knock one of Australias icons, built by a great pioneer and visionary of the land.
    If more dams and storage areas were allowed to be built, then in the wet years precious water could be saved and Australia would have a chance of a being able to provide the economic lifeblood which is so badly needed and relied upon in rural Australia
