I am talking about pocket sized
diversion dams
with pipes thru the range or round
the range into the Murray Darling basin.
They would be on creeks that are tribs of
rivers that flood towns in Qld ......one large
irrigation town was flooded twice in a
few months 18 months ago.....tropical storms .
That water could be great in the top of the
Darling instead of flooding some towns.
Any way this thread seems to be heading
way way from the Darling ....more like
how much water do we need for the
pot plants in front of Melbourne Coffee shops.
