LOL children and refugees seeking refuge is not a criminal act. If they are not genuine refugees they can be sent home. If they are refugees then they must be protected until it is either safe to send them home or grant them residential status. To do otherwise is an act against humanity and contrary to international law.

The problem is the refugee convention makes it very easy for claimants to lie. They don't need to provide any proof that they are fleeing persecution other than their own word. The test to being a "genuine" refugee is being able to destroy all your documentation and come up with a plausible story. Given this I am surprised anyone fails.
