Not sure how smart that was from Ellison. No one wants to give in to blackmail. If I were the government that would harden my resolve to say no.
BYW, it’s starting to look like the shorters are starting to slowly close out. Be a nice time for a bid to lob - it would prompt a massive short squeeze.
