Luck. I would put my money on STX continuing to exist. Thanks to Tony Curtis, SN and the STX board must have a pretty good idea of how much (of their) gas they still have to prove up.
My bet is that this is very much more than the market thinks or what anyone is prepared to pay for in a takeover move. Why should the STX
board capitulate when ,by hanging in there, they will get the kudos of creating a much larger company and, in doing so, will individually become much wealthier?
