800,000 or 760,000,000 barrels of oil??? , page-12

I would be inclined to think that the announcement that stated 760 million barrels have been produced at Allen dome was the misprint and was supposed to be 760 thousand. That would then be consistent with every other announcement that TTE has given on Allen Dome having produced 800,000 barrels.

Also....."Allen Dome piercement salt dome has produced more than 760 million barrels of oil from sands above 5000 feet at seven wells in the northern flank."

7 wells producing 760 million barrels - yeah righteo, over 100 million barrels per well. They clearly meant 760 thousand

Just thinking logically, all of the Texas salt domes combined have produced 2.5 billion barrels since 1920, do you really think a third of all production would have come from one salt dome that has hardly been drilled.

Sometime it pays to think things through logically and use a little discernment.
