Revenue from 1st and 2nd quarter 2007-08 minus operating / exploration and development costs brings this figure to
~ $3mil debt at 31-12-07

As far I can tell, there would also be admin/interest costs and possibly some costs associated with the refinery study so perhaps Strachans estimate on 23-01-08 of $8mil debt for STU is not far off.
