You have come out and support those with disability because of your personal experience. I have no issues with that.
I just want to add that one does not need to have had the experience to be able to be kind to the less fortunate, because many of them have not chosen to be that way. One just needs to have the compassion and the commitment to the belief that in a civil society we collectively have the ethical and moral duty to help those, for various reasons, who are unable to look after themselves.
Yes, there will be a minority who will exploit the generousity of the collective majority, but for some to imply a majority or sizable proportion of those on disability pensions are rorting the system is at best insensitive to the sufferings of the disabled.
Similarly, the many unemployed do not choose to be that way.
So, next time when you want to criticize these unemployed, reflect and count to ten before you do that.
