It's only the most contentious issue because there's MONEY in it.
1. 'Carbon sinks' are the next bubble.
2. China, as the biggest polluter can be taxed by the rest of the business world/banks/financiers.
3. Sheeple believe the flash from the TV (following right after 'The Biggest Losers' 'Australian Idol' 'Dr Phil' et al with which they've been enthralled).
4. Disgruntled folk have a new 'cause' to champion, whilst 'gruntled' folk (isn't a word - but should be) are derided as fools.
