Points: Global warming is a fact.
: How much has mankind contributed to it?
: How much is from natural causes?
: China; India; USA; are major contributers to their countries pollution levels. Does this automatically translate to contributing to global warming?
: Damage to the ecological well being of the planet has been strongly debated since the early seventies. Much more needs to be done to preserve the planets natural beauty for future generations. It may be that ground and water pollutin are a bigger problem than the effect that man has on the warming of the earth!
: Are the oceans really rising?
: We know that glaciers are retreating. I saw evidence of this at the Athabasca ice field in Canada in 1989 and accepted that it was due to the earths warming. But, I would still like to be convinced of man's percentage effect on global warming.
: I retain a healthy scepticism of both sides of the story, however, am concerned that we had really better develop an accurate, undeniable scientific basis for the situation before much more time passes.
