Dub, your comments are all perfectly plausible. Turnbull already is talking about the great new business of trading in carbon credits. In the developed world commodity prices would rise and in the third world poverty would become even more entrenched.
I doubt much will happen though as not every country will ever agree to be bound by a carbon credits system, and in the longer term it will not matter anyway as the currently predicted chaos never eventuates.
