With round about 5000 shareholders, I don't think those who participate will be scaled back much, if at all.

The $15 million they want from the SPP over 5000 shareholders is $3000 per share or 1000 shareholders giving $15K each.

I have many friends in SLR. My guesstimate of their take up is:
a.I expect about 2 in 10 to take up all $15K
b. Of these 1 in 10 has more than one SLR holding held in different accounts
c. 4 of the 10 are likely to ask for an average of about $5K each
d. the other 4 won't take up any (already hold plenty?; short of $$ or other reasons).

This small sample yields an average $5K per SH and, if achieved across all shareholders would yield $25 million, which might suggest an allocation of 60% (or a 40% cutback).

My gut feel is that there will be a smaller uptake across the overall holders. One reason for this my mates are all investors rather than traders. Obviously, there are a significant number of traders in SLR, now that the goldies are moving upwards.

Of course, if the SP drops below 90c in the days before the SPP closes, there will be a poorish SPP result for SLR.
