In think DRC is actually a better option regarding buisness safety. Honestly, if you look at the risks associated with start-up and subsequent production of mine in Arctic areas, they far outweigh politic and social risk in West African nations.
Hence the push for China to bring Simandou online and FMGs look into Belinga in **on.
