My understanding is the Consortium Partners deal was formed off the back of;
OEL identifying the target from the shared Great Bear 3D,
OEL essentially owed RMP a favour. RMP cashed up but had no projects and needed something.
88e, active on the North Slope and with the capability to put together the Winx drill.
OEL and RMP do not have this capability.
This is why 88e are the operator and major Consortium Partner.
My intention was not to infer that 88e formed the partnership, rather it was formed. Probably over a few beers at the Perth Old Boys Rugby Club
