You say - Americans have been going over Alaska with a fine tooth comb over the past hundred years or so?
1. Maybe that's why they failed to find oil? Using a tooth comb isn't very useful compared to today's technology.
2. The oil is there, had any of these previous 100's of years explorers known and discovered oil within 88E's project? I doubt it.
3. It's not just 88E that have discovered oil in Alaska in recent years. Several discoveries have and are being made. Caelus, Repsol have made big discoveries.
So screw what has happend with fine tooth combs over 100's of year. Look at what is being discovered now.
