My first thought was, well........jez not again, probably my own naivety but for some reason this time I believed Dave when he stated, no further raising before drilling.

Doesn't instill confidence, I get the feeling this is the just in case, "we missed it be that much" raise. Any further development of the Areas B&C is only off the back of success at Area A. Should that success happen then raising at a higher price is not an issue but now..... not so much.

I know Dave runs a financially conservative ship but the market is smarter now and while he is a large holder he is one man, it's the many that feel the pain and that pain radiates out. This leaves the bad taste in the mouth and like a Chinese whisper will eventually bring them undone. What we need is oil, nothing but oil will remove the taint here.

My second thought was, is this raise a favour for someone who wanted but couldn't commit to the last raise. Based on the chat about, seems like this raise will fill the gap left. Favours?

My third thought, well, we are an exploration company and until such a time comes that we can actually monetise an asset or generate revenue, we are beholden to the dreaded CR system. Fact.

My fourth thought, which came later this evening after a couple of glasses of Shiraz, was that I'm going to grab some more when the halt lifts, catch the bounce back a and exit these guys before results. Haven't signed off on this thought yet though, it's like a bad girl friend with great sex.

Not that much changes elsewhere but a change of scenery might be good.

Good crew here though so will be a tough decision but 88e is wearing my skin thin, or is that the wine talking.

Anyhoo, hope all are well and tomorrow is another day. Chun up
