Sorry I could not find an answer for this that explains simply. Someone may have asked this earlier
if I bought 1000 shares in 2016 of 88EO at $0.005 then converted to 88E by paying the $0.02 in 2018 then sold my 1000 shares in 2021 at 0.037
Then for tax purposes is my total cost price for this (1000 x $0.005 ) + ($0.02 x 1000) = (5 + 20) = $25
while my sell price is (1000 x $0.037) = $37.00 so I made a profit of $12 and then I would pay tax on this .
Is this right ?
