CLOSING OF A$88,825,850 FINANCING

AIM Resources Ltd. ("AIM") (AIM-ASX; AIMR-AIM London) is pleased to announce the
closing of the previously reported offering of Units and Escrow Receipts (the "Offering"). The Offering was completed by a syndicate of agents led by Westwind
Partners Inc. and including Cormark Securities Inc. (the "Agents"). After giving effect to the exercise of the Agents' over-allotment option a total of 74,083,000 Units and 212,452,000 Escrow Receipts were issued today at a price of A$0.31 each for gross proceeds of A$88,825,850. The Agents may sell up to an additional 615,000 Units and 2,866,000 Escrow Receipts.

Each Unit is comprised of one ordinary share (an "Ordinary Share") and one half of an ordinary share purchase warrant (each whole warrant, a "Warrant"). Each Warrant will entitle the holder thereof to acquire one ordinary share for an exercise price of A$0.45 for a period of 36 months expiring 28 September 2010. Each Escrow Receipt will be exercisable for no additional consideration into a Unit upon satisfaction of the specified Escrow Release Conditions (which includes obtaining approval of shareholders in accordance with ASX Listing Rules and meeting other regulatory requirements).

The net proceeds of the private placement will be used for funding the ongoing exploration and development of the Perkoa Zinc Mine as well as other exploration
purposes and general corporate purposes.

Application will be made for the 74,083,000 new Ordinary Shares issued as part of the Offering to be admitted to trading on AIM. Dealings on AIM in the new
Ordinary Shares are expected to commence on 19 July 2007.
