Totally agree whiskey , 300m of a carbon steel line needed to be installed between the two points. Of which the two tie in points are live, the line would have to be excavated and dropped into place or if above ground some concrete footings constructed and then the pipe placed with a couple of gate valves. With the main Line that we are connecting into being live this will have to happen in a fairly quick timeframe so as not to disrupt that main line flow, it may take a week or so to get all the paperwork and approvals done for that as it effects the gas flow from many other areas / companies ; that main line doesn't IMO belong to GGP alone; there is also the construction of the gas outlet from the well head; gas come up with water so it's best having this all sealed up and not spraying everywhere; it's not the case of just ramming a pipe in there and away you go.
All of the above takes time ;permits, trenching(, even more of you are trenching through rock) , procuring and installing pipe and valves and the. The tie in point; so in my opinion the length of time that we have been waiting is not unreasonable
