Ok, here is my view on the 8m trade...
It aint Pallinghust, POSCO and I am pretty much 90% sure it aint RRR - they have a seda, and probably up to a 3m loan facility...
I doubt its a PI trade, so it really only leaves LSG Coal Pty Ltd.. they have about 22m shares I believe, so it would be possible that they could have sold 8m. It would still keep them above the 3%, so we might never know. Its more interesting where they went...
I doubt its any of the big 3, as I would reckon they would have an agreement with each other not to buy in the open market.
I would point my finger at hancock, they appeared on a recent RNS with a holding of 0.82% (recently aqquired) and there has been some decent trades in recent weeks (1m trades on a few occasions). If this is the case... they must be very close to the 3%. I dont know what the declaration rules are in Oz, but if my hunch is right we will know pretty soon...
