Unless there is substantial buy in from the institutional investors then chances are us schmuck retail investors will chip in our cash and then get shafted anyway. At least we'll ensure there will be enough cash to pay the management while they wind up. If they do meet the minimum capital requirement and we don't chip in then we'll be diluted to irrelevance.
