re: it is not as life threatening this time4000 Steve, you wouldn't have been rooted. You could have invested in other, better stocks, and be better off than you are now. Don't limit yourself.

It's hard to admit you are wrong with a stock. You have to be able to turn around and walk away. It's easy to buy but the difference between a good and bad investor is knowing when to sell, and that often means taking a loss.

If you can never bring yourself to sell, especially if you are down, then you have to ask yourself whether you have the temperament for this game. Simply buying and holding doesn't cut it.

If you can't move on then get out or you will destroy yourself. Long hard looks in the mirror methinks.
