What emotional investment do you have in accepting and defending the official story? Does it make you feel safer that the world is run by nice people who only have your welfare at heart?
What if that weren't so, and all we have been told are lies just to gain our acquiescence? Not just about sept 11th but about most of our history. History is after all written by the winners, and we have been on the winning side for the last 200 years.That's fine as far as it goes, but it won't be so much fun when we are on the losing side, and that will happen one day. Then you will become a conspiracy theorist.
