ANz peaked at around $33 in March 2017. Since then anz have given 4 divs at 80c + franking = $4.57 last week anz was $28.36
Therefore since you sold anz for $33 in march 17. You would have $32.93 had you kept them. so you would only be ahead by what you made on your alternative investment
That is why I am heavily invested in the banks for the last 10 years and I rarely by non dividend shares . The divs on the financials create a hedge against SP fluctuations
