Southern Cross and Bell Potter have been given the mandate to place the Shortfall SPP shares at their option over the next 3 months. Read the last paragraph of the disclosure (last page) of the Southern Cross research report.
IMO, the sheer volume of shortfall shares to be placed will put a lid on the SP for the next few months.
