I wonder how much more of a fall AMP could handle. Do they even know?

Also read somewhere that AMP assume the FTSE will be 4700 by the end of this year... I wonder why they think that?

The FTSE is certainly not expensive by historical standards but with talk about insurers being technically insolvent and government regulators not enforcing breaches who knows what's happening over there.

It's actually quite silly of them to ever be so dependent on the equity markets as they haven't really fallen that much over a 5 year period. I guess that like many others got caught up in the recent boom.

They just have to hope the UK stockmarkets don't end up becoming another Japan.
