Telstra intends to pay 28c/share fully franked dividend in 2011/2012 and 2012/2013.
That's why Criterion (Tim Boreham)in the Australian is saying buying the stock is as close to a "no brainer" as you'll get.

I tend to agree when you can borrow funds secured against property for as low as 5.99% pa for 3 years (Newcastle Permanent) or 6.33% for 3 years fixed with CBA.
