I've been trying to find more information around MSC cells already being successful in treating GVHD. I believe MSB are in phase 3 of their trials for GVHD using MSC stem cells?
My question is, what is the probability the results from the current trial will be successful? To me from my research, I think it's very high (80%+) from what I've read of other trials, in particular for GVHD using these MSC cells?
I wanted to ask if anyone here has any more reading or can help summarise this for me? I don't know as much about the 'biotech' space as I'd like. Am I reading this incorrectly? Or is this company just flying under the radar? If the chance of success in this trial is high, then surely this technology is worth multiples of its current price? What other companies or trials have been successful using these types of stem cells?
I look forward to reading the research and thoughts on this as I'm very interested to see how successful these cells have been in the past and in particular on GVHD treatment and any others that CYP are looking at?
