A change of ownership for an amount this big should require at least one Substantial Shareholder notice within 2 business days. If buyers goes above 5% of company they are required to lodge a 603 Form, while a current Substantial Shareholder must lodge a 604 Form if holding has decreased by 1%, if no longer a shareholder i.e. under 5% they will use a 605 form.
Unfortunately some overseas ignore requirement to lodge forms.
Act refers to "when they become aware of the situation..."
