gjc, disagree with you, their original offer was 100% of the assets and 100% of the debt, if they are now only able to bid for 50% of the assets, why on earth would they pay off 100% of the debt?
Of course, they'd only pay off 50%, whatever amount is proportional to the assets they are purchasing.
