Profit has been calculated before based on a $55 pre tonne cost base.

In rough terms MNM's share of revenue will be 6 million tonnes X profit margin per tonne.

even a conservative $30 per tonne profit margin for the now committed to 12 million tonne per annum BM export project produces a $180 million per annum profit for MNM.

but with coal demand set to soar in India by 2018, the actual profit margin may be multiples of that. the cost base may also be higher of course.
