Hey Guys
Yeah tend to agree when the market heads south these small miners retreat into the bunkers and dont release too much info.
But I do believe that we wont need too much momentum to get the share price to rise significantly.
Once the NI43-101 is converted and upgraded to JORC to reflect current prices, we will see an influx of money into IDC.
We saw today, GOA announce gold results deep in their 1000m drill hole which saw $4.7million traded into the stock.
Now lets assume we only receive $4.7million worth of trades once the JORC Upgrade occurs.
We need to be aware of the following facts about IndoChine:
1. Tightly Held Registry
491million shares outstanding
Of these 78% are owned by the Top 20 Cornerstone Investors
Another 81million are held in escrow by the landowners of Mt Kare
This equates to the following:
491,000,000 less
317,846,403 Top 20 Cornerstone Investors less
81,000,000 Landowners in Escrow
Shares in Public Hands = 92,153,597
This tightly held share registry is the main reason why the share price of SFR launched to $7. SFR only has a Market Cap of $1Billion, but when Oz Minerals bought up 19.9%
at market, it reduced the amount of traded SFR shares in public hands, and pushed the price up significantly.
Now have a look at the Buy/Sell Orders as at today's Close Of Business on the ASX.
There are currently 1.457million shares on the sell side.
Once this announcement is made, as little as $270k worth of purchases would need to be made in one day to lift IndoChine's share price to 22c.
Now imagine $4.7million worth of purchases occurring, or $20million(which is the amount of GOA shares Traded on the 12th of July when they announced a 2m 98gram per tonne gold assay). And we have plenty of Bonanza announcements planned between January and May 2012, as per IDC's AGM Presentation.
IMHO when the market wakes up to this magnificent resource at Mt Kare and we get $10-20-30million traded in a single day, the intra day sales will increase the share price substantially purely on the back of having such a small amount of shares available on the market to be bought. Then profit taking will occur, which is natural for any share, then new buyers will enter at the higher price levels, creating a floor, while IDC continues to drill and increase further their gold resource. Then, as IDC releases their second JORC Upgrade, as per the AGM in May 2012, we see yet again another rerating and share price rise.
Once we have the JORC we will then be able to complete NPV calcs and then have a better understanding about how big our Baby Mammoth will be!
Cheers Nectar
