    "The federal Education Department has paid consultants more than $5500-a-day for advice on managing its image.
    But Education refuses to make public the report into its media and marketing operations from private spin doctors Reputation Ltd that cost the taxpayer $95,000 for just over three weeks' work.

    According to the answer to a question on notice from shadow finance minister Penny Wong, Education hired the public relations consultants for 24 days in January and February this year."
