    No I have never been in the police force and only know one member, havent seen him in years. You posted that your response to thousands of incidents you studied demonstrating poor practise in handling elderly and dementia patients was to creat a training program. I asked the question did it advise calling the police. Its a fair question, and I do attribute some of the blame as to what happened to the staff. I am not making an apology for the police. If anything I am defending the policeman who fired the taser, no doubt it was a stupid thing to do, but people will do stupid things. You probably cant train to avoid these mistakes or avoid recruiting people who make them. I cant see the police force is particularly resposible for what happened, I believe I read they have guide lines not to taser elderly. The taser firer did so stupidly and against his instructions.
