IMHO the thread gained momentum from the poor, inadequate, untrue responses from the authorities

Authorities who are so opposed to telling the simple truth.

If we are in the dark we then surmise and guess, so what of the family who have to cope with their relative passing in such a manner and hearing the same garbled excuses from our leaders

The only way to get any justice is for the public to kick up a stink until the noise is so bad that the authorities have to answer
