Ability went out the door years ago..One of the first things that got thrown out was the 'obstacle' course...It is far more than just a run...it makes people match mental and physical skills together...so that they can think on their feet and move accordingly...very important task...As for females in the Police they are welcome if they have the ability...But from my experience the WAG (Women's Advisory Group) pulls them from any violent or hard working station quite quickly...they then blast for th rest of their career about their six months in such and such...While highly capable men have to do ten years at the same station. Equality has been thrown out in the rush to push girls into positions they are not qualified or experienced to do...And on that note the PO in question will have to be asked did he have the ability or was there questions from the start? He certainly does not look match fit....but as I have stated physical testing and maintaining is extremely under rated....and when that happens panic, poor decision making and poor results come....
