@Welkin31; if those 97,000 AFL fans had loudly booed the Welcome to Country presentation last night as requested by Sam Newman and supported by his back-slappers on this forum, Australians collectively would have been harshly judged throughout the World.
That those 97,000 AFL fans were instead respectful enhanced our reputation as a decent, fair-minded people who are passionate about what competitive sport has to offer.
As for Newman; IMO he's incapable of acknowledging the emphatic rejection of his latest self-promotional, malicious stunt.
