cvn seems to pretty much follow the same pattern as asx200 these days, so we can expect a bit of a buffering for a while until sanity prevails.
Phil,
what is it with gaps here, they seems to be called on to be filled no matter how old, or irrelevent?
Gap fill is only relevent within a close timeframe, in a ta aspect as it will still have impact on buyers taken up going to a highr price. Say week to month?? The only reason sp will go back to a gap, is that buyers were soaked up in the gap up, and can be pressured out if sp drops back into or near the gap.
we should see oil push up around the 120 again when deal is signed off in congress and bush puts his x on it. Will be seen as a stabiliser on growth, negative view on growth has pushed back to 105 in last week.
main push now from cvn will be to get production ramped up in other fields and increase reserves, so spread the tax across each field, as they are treated independantly.
what an amazing co. wish there were more like them in this climate, would buy them all.
cheers
steve
