Different ore type. Different processing. Some EMM (small % of world demand) made in South Africa but cannot expand due to lack of electricity.
Eramet in **on producing some also but heavily in debt. I don't regard these countries as free-world countries. Nationalisation can occur in a flash, So where would you buy your EMM from if you were building new battery factories and the car production lines to go with them?
