This twitter post has a nice timeseries graph around different battery pack energy densities. I think these are complete pack density weights rather than the higher figures when you look at individual batteries and don't factor in the surrounding packaging needed to make everything work.
It will be interesting to see which way cars go - more energy density to provide a larger range or more energy density to make a lighter car with the same range.
